Dash Board Mod - center console

Have seen a few cars with the center console painted gloss black and was looking for some advice/tips on how to do it?

Mk2 08 cupra

How do you remove all the parts etc?

Any help/pics appreciated

I've got some gloss black vinyl that I plan to do my door pillars, interior and rear boot badge in. Feel it will be a better option come re sale time. Even though the dash is awful and painting black can only improve it

Yeah true, I've since discovered di-noc carbon fibre wrap and done the centre console on my other car. It's pretty good stuff and available in gloss black too

all in my original thread, best trim removal guide is the sat nav thread that's what I used anyway.

My parts are all painted, if I had known about wrapping I could have done that but the binacle would have been tricky!

Chrome dial rings / surrounds

Is this a mod that anyone would recommend

The ones I have seen look really nice but am a little unsure how easy they are to fit/ are they secure and do they really look that good?

Any thoughts?
