I'm 17 in a few weeks, and I've just bought a nice little Arosa, wahay :D

It's a 2001 Arosa 1.0 S, with a mere 104k miles on the clock. All for the grand old sum of £1875, good times :)

The current plan is to learn in it and sell it when I pass, unless I decide I can cope with the slightly camp/elderly image (no offence fellow Arosa drivers :D), then I'll keep it a bit longer

Yeah it's a fairly clean little thing, a couple of scratches and it's been keyed down the drivers side (Grrrr), but no dents at least (yet)

Hehe, if only, they wouldn't last 5 minutes on the lanes around here, they remind me of something you'd find in the depths of Russia, especially after the recent cold spell!

tidy little car :)
Get some coilovers whacked on it and your laughing haha
Good luck with it.

Just had an insurance quote, £611 on my own policy, not too bad!

Thats realllly cheap!
For my first car,i had a 1.8 ford focus and the insurance fully comp on my own name was £2000.
I then sold that car as it was costing me too much on petrol and got myself an arosa 1.4 sport and its only like 61 quid a year cheaper than the focus! ouch!

is that quote based on a passed test or with someone else sat beside you who has already passed there test mate? the reason i ask is my son learning at the mo and the cheapest quote i can get is £2000 and thats for a 1.0 ibiza mpi on an R plate asuming he passed his test. who are you with if you dont mind me asking?

Hi, the quote was with Quinn Direct, with me on my provisional. Not fully comp, just Third party, fire and theft. Had my mum as an additional driver. I live in a low risk, remote area so that probably helps.
