can anyone give me info on a WMI kit that will fit my car, how easy they are to fit and what gains are to be had. i did a search but couldnt find any suitable answers

i know of a Cupra in my country that has the Devil's Own Stage 2 Progressive wmi kit fitted. i made gains of up to 14whp on the dyno. intake temps drop to about ambient..sometimes a couple of degrees higher than ambient. timing pull 0, from the top down. installation is similar to the FR..the new DVC30 controller requires a boost link to measure boost as it has a built in MAP sensor.

Snow performance stage 2 kit will also be suitable, this is what I am running. Specific for the FSI engines.
Devils own is also a good choice.

Dan can these kits be run with GIAC or do you need to have Revo so that you can control boost/timing etc. have you noticed a differance in performance

ideally u need a tune thats optimized for the water meth ie. 100octane file. MAF based units spray according to the increase in air flow, the more it'll spray towards redline as the air flow is max at that point. MAP based controllers spray according to boost readings.

there's a most definite performance increase, also car can run consistently for longer as opposed to a car that doesn't have wmi.

You can have it with the GIAC no problem, although you might not get the most from it if you cannot control the timing.

Im sure giac will do some kind of software for it, gaic are big in the states and im sure the yanks will be running wmi.

Youd be better off giving a giac dealer a call to see what they offer.

cool, cheers guys. i may give regal a call tomorrow to see what they recommend, i am not fussed about power gains i just want to see less power drop when the car heatsoaks

i assure u that you'll eat those words one day when u get the kit. alot of people in the US gain up to 22whp from wmi. are u just gonna settle for delayed heatsoak?..you'll want the most out of it when u start runnin it. ;)

must say, i think the Boost Cooler TFSI Stage II VC25D looks like the better of the two kits although more expensive but is made for the 2.0tfsi. think i will go for that. just see if i can get statlers to set it up for me when i am down in 2 weeks.

also think i will need to get a larger tank so that i dont need to fill it every couple of days!
