fuel pump???

hi. can anybody tell me wot this problem cud be? wen im drivin normal its fine, but wen i put my foot down it splutters and coughs? could it b the fuel pump?? cheers

Sounds like coil pack or plugs just from that?

well wen driving normal its fine it doesnt splutter or anything, jus wen u put it under pressure wen u hit the turbo seems like there isnt enough fuel gettin through. if the coil pack is knackerd it wud run lumpy all the time wudnt it? cheers

could be an issue with the plugs then, when was the fuel filter last changed?

Or try disconnecting the maf and giving it a run.

When My Ibiza Cupra did that it was the plugs, they were failing when you put them under load

There's 4 coil packs mate, dont just guess either have a diagnostic check and replace accordingly or just do the plugs and see how it goes.

£25-30 each and the genuine platnium plugs are about £40 a set.
