Best mod per £ is to go and do a driving course at your nearest circuit.

get the best out of what you have before you change it.

That's the best bit of advice I've seen in a long while

Why didn't you just say "please tell me to put cheap coilovers on & slam it"

fit a rear ARB, and decent tyres & decent dampers.

I'm giving Powerflex bushes a go for mine, along with new standard dampers. But your car is going to be newer than mine so your dampers probably aren't as shot!

My target is more getting it back to close to 'factory fresh' rather than 'sporty'.

Be taught how to use your car properly and you will induce far less body roll anyhow.
