Cheers Warren why do all you posts end up costing me money:cry:

Because there's no point dying with money in the bank :D

I've been trying to iron out a few inconsistency issues with the car, and hopefully these final mods should straighten things out a bit.

However I've had a fault code pointing at the tumble flaps in the inlet manifold today, so maybe the final costs are not over. Get the feeling when I have the RS4 fuel regulator fitted I'll be having the tumble flaps replaced too :censored:

Both hubbly and warren got the hoodlifter, do you have a link for this? I've searched on all danish webshops, and noone have a hoodtlifter for Leon MK2. Will a A3 hoodlifter do the job or?

Thank you in advance

Hoodlifter is standard fit on A3, so would imagine it would work on Leon.

No 3" pipes I'm afraid guys, more a honing of the unit based around improving the smoothness. However we are looking into a 'stage 2' pack which focuses on provision of air to the main filter head.

Seen the prototype pipework and it's looking good!

With respect to bigger pipes in, won't the aperture into the turbo at the back of the engine be a limiting factor which will negate any benefit from significantly larger diameter piping?

Also, just got some of these puppies. Will overcome the issue of slackening jubilee clip on the turbo intake section (see std jubilee clip in centre of picture vs. the new ones!)

From the outer diameter yes, but internally it tapers down to the size of the maf pipe to smooth out any stepped edges.

I have a very intermittent flat spot which I want to iron out.

Apologies, whilst this is engine bay stuff, appreciate its not exactly show us your bay (@ OP)

No need to apologise, I feel it's relevant, when I started the thread I wanted these kind of discussions to take place. So people know what's available and what will be available.
