Spent the morning at AMD Surrey where my old mate Simon Howarth downloaded the new map for my Cupra. The version he used allowed for the airfilter and exhaust work I have already done. Can't say much more yet, as that was only a couple of hours ago, but it is quicker! Next step is to give it a proper test, so I will be doing a few laps at Castle Combe Saturday morning - hopefully a full report and vids will follow if I can keep it on the tarmac.

I have set up a special deal for us with AMD - a 10% discount in May on a REVO remap for the 180bhp 1.4 TSi engined Ibiza MK5, just tell Simon that 'Spider' sent you. So thats a remap for £360 + VAT for May 2010, just for you. AMD Surrey are in Woking - Tel 01483 726001

Yeah be very interested to hear your thoughts on the power delivery and power curve? Does it hold boost better top end etc.

The draw for more power is a beeatch :D I personally wouldn't pay that much for a remap. If they did another spring type offer I'd be tempted!

And I thought you said you werent going to bother ;)
I heard about the REVO remap from VW Racing and they said it was good, but the release was delayed. Suddenly, the other day, a member spotted it was out and I had a chance to get it before the trackday at a good price, so it had to be done. Very glad I did as it rocked at Combe, I owned that track! Now I need to stay the fastest MK5 in the UK so don't buy it !

You guys are lucky, there is no REVO dealer in my city and the nearest one is 2000km away
