The sunstrip is just tint film inside the glass.. from memory it is Dark tint so I think that was 20% vlt.
I redid my front glass a while ago because I opened the windows before they had properly set and that wrecked them.. this time thought they are spot on.. the windows open and close with no catching of the film. Not had any problems with the law either.

I'm not sure how other people have tinted the rear windows.. the spray looks a bit untidy from inside looking through them but from the outside they look fine.

A better idea of the sunstrip

Could someone give me advise on how to get the small back windows on the mk2 leon, the same as the other back windows, they are the dark tint but dont know how to do the small window where the handle is. Some people have said to paint them. Is that a good idea?

Tint film doesn't stick very well and as said previously the smoke tint looks a bit blotchy internally.

To be honest if i was doing it again the first thing I would try would be some lamin-x smoked film. It's designed for sticking to plastic lights etc You would just have to trim round the curved bit. Can't say for sure that it will work or look right as I haven't tried it.. Just that that's what I would try :)
