sorry boys and girls, i had a complete mare, i never know names of things, just how they work/look lol

dave got it right, the slider pin was sheared off in the carrier, so need a carrier, as i tried getting it out
the previous owner put some type of industrial bonding type thing to hold it in, but as the pads are new, it won't slide in (as it is stuck solid )

doing what vince just said too, me and my uncle tried earlier, no luck!
so i need to find a carrier, they are same for each side right?

yes as i bought an offside one when i needed nearside and it fits fine.

it is well and truly sh*gged mate, my uncle (super mechanic) tried and failed today, tried everything, it's annoying now!

drilled out the last 3 i have seen but ya right it's a royal butt pain at times

for reference the gsf listed kit last time i bought one turned out to be the rubbers only

no one EVER greases em up properly which is crazy with single piston calipers as it's asking for trouble so be warned when changing pads in future to check em and maintain properly

spot on mate, just slightly more in the middle, thing is the previous owner know about it, and did a bodge job

if you get really stuck try and take the carrier frame and new pin up your local back street engineering shed - 5 mins on the milling machine will see it cleaned out sweet
