Sunny Wolverhampton!
Guys I've had a quick search to not waste anyone's time but cant find anything (I think I want opinions)

I’m twitching to get a remap done on the cupra for the summer but still have the warranty left so I was thinking revo coz I can use the switcher box to set it back if anything goes wrong. However this is like £600. I had a p-torque on my mk1 and was happy with it, p-torque is obviously alot cheaper but with no switcher option. Do you think I need to be so worried about if something goes wrong with the warranty? I did look at a bluefin but the power gains are no where near p-torque and revo.

Feedback appreciated.

thanks

i cant comment on revo as ive not used it, but i p-torqued my tdi and the power increase was immense. And more to the point, useable. Distribution of power was spot on. Flat spots eliminated and power band extended. It literally transformed the car. I been running it for neary 2 years now, and no issues.

not many p torque cupras on here so you might struggle to find comparisons

We have tuned a huge amount of these engines with great results. (Done more S3's than Cupras though!)

Power is increased to 305hp and 310lbs/ft torque on the stage 1 software.

We also offer other stages, up to 350hp, including exhaust, fuel pump and custom mapping.

We can offer a switchable unit if you like, this is £200.00 extra though, and to be fair we haven't had any customers with warranty/dealer issues.

The car is mapped on the dyno with before/after power results :)

I cant comment on a MK2 cupra remap but my MK3 1.8t ibiza has been remapped for the last 40k with zero issues & a nice power gain.

Im currently on the hunt for a MK2 Leon and will be going back to P-torque for its remap.

I suppose it depends on location a little too though....

im currently running on p torque software on my mk2 cupra and cant recomend it enough the car completly transformed i know any map make a great deal of difference but the level of service will gives is great and came away a very happy man, i know all about the dyno lottery but my car made 315bhp and 320lb ft of torque.
if youve had the revo trial make sure you get a standard map flashed on the car as i had drove down to wolerhampton only to find my ecu was locked so it was a trip monster motorsport to get a standard map back on the car then back down to wolverhamton to get the car mapped

Arrgghh this is a nightmare I don't know what to do. Will yours is £300 without the dyno right? I might just crack and go back to p-torque and then pray nothing happens warrenty wise. Ie clutch.

Thing is with revo you can put it back to standard but it's revos standard settings not seat's so I'd imagine that they will detect it anyway.

Correct me if I'm wrong btw

I know YIN had his P-Torque or did, might be worth giving him a shout

That is correct

Got 318bhp and it repeated else were about the same

As far as I know you get a dyno run before and after in the price, I'm thinking of using P-Torque as they have a good reputation and when I contacted Will he sounds like he really knows his stuff, if you decide to go this way keep us posted!

Hi

I've had Will @ P-Torque do my Stage 1 map, and my second visit I had my EGR mapped out.

I can highly recomend Will's work, very pleased with the power gains so much so I am trying to convince the wife to have her Boca done but it's hard work????

No brainer for me though.

Took a trip to Will at P-Torque today and I can't recommend the service he gives highly enough, his stage 1 software gave 320 bhp & 305 lb/ft of torque:funk:. Plenty more grunt than before and totally useable power, made me grin all the way home!!
