I think popping the boot would be pointless on the leon because the handle (ie the S badge) has to be lifted anyway to open the boot... would be better on something like a cooper or civic where they have the long grab handle. Might give it a try, might try to adjust the solenoids so that when you unlock the boot it fully lifts rather than pops open a bit.

Found the electric window thing:

46 Central Conv.

Byte 9

Bit 1 (Front Power Windows installed)
Bit 2 (Rear Power Windows installed)

Tried the Cold diagnosis with the rear brake light, number plate bulbs, and sidelight bulbs. Can confirm all of them work ok.

Normally the car checks all the lights when the ignition is started, and flags up an error for a "Bulb Out", or when an LED is fitted, it simply cuts the power to the circuit.

The Cold Diagnosis settings in VAG COM turn off this feature.

What that means is that it is possible to fit LED sidelights/Numberplate bulbs without having to load the circuit.

So I can finally fit led's all over ? Cause I have rear tinted lights so wanted some brighter bulbs in the rear cluster to light it up like an xmas tree.

You can only try! unfortunately, i do not have LED bulbs i can try out for the rears, so i cant fully help you.

Keep these coming guys superb tips for when cables arrive . I'm guessing the dial sweep on ignition mod i've seen some guys with new A4's do is out of the question for our leons??

it would look strange though as clocks are not same size.

Sweeping is cool full stop, pointless but cool . Im guessing it will have a function for testing the instruments but whether or not you can get it on every start not sure :-s

Dont think so, not in my ver. of VAG COM (704.1) Only adaptation in 17.

Ok heres a few things ive noted down:

Boot Release. When pressing the middle button on the key fob, it "pop's" the boot open slightly, rather than just unlocking it. Some people may not like this.

Bit 4 (Central Locking (Rear Lid) Softtouch (direct open/no release)

You can make the boot lid open with this mod by changing the gas struts (I think you can use Skoda ones) and the boot lid opens like so.....

not tried the timer yet mate... been busy with exams will probably celebrate on friday by leaving the university carpark at 62mph and timing it.

This is the reason i enabled the boot release with remote fob. It may need a bit of reworking, as the struts i bought are a bit short, and the hatch doesnt open as far as standard.
Crap video i took from upstairs with the key. My mate was going out to his car, so he shuts the boot.
