except both ds2500 and ds3000's have Better Cold Bite than OE, so no downside on uprated pads in this example

dust is avg, less than cheap pads, but I would'nt say any pad does'nt dust up
I got them on my car, dust isn't anymore than the stock ones and they stop pretty much straght away tbh

Seat is using a softer paste on the pads due to the fact that they use some recycled materials and its more enviromental friendly. The problem is they heat up alot so as a consequence the stock pads become very warm and less reliable after chasing the car for too long

Indeed, never skimp on things like brakes and tires... They're kinda important!
so what your trying to say is......
1. dont buy the uprated pack

No my advice is just get it done from factory. There on and sorted colourcoded and you get your spare alloy. The £800odd if for the bits only you'd still have to pay to get them fitted if you don't do it yourself.
I'll look into those pads at some point but the brakes are spot on as is on the road. I'd I do more track days I'll possibly get some.

hmmm this might be worth considering then, how much for the parts?? i can fit the calipers and disks myself?? but will this invalidate the warranty??
Won't invalidate your warranty, they won't know the difference other than the PR codes will be wrong. But obviously you wo t have warranty on the brakes other than the 12 months you get on parts.
Retail is just over £300 for each caliper plus the discs which are circa £60 each iirc.

so all together maybe a good £700-800?? hmm now that is really worth consdering as it will save a large amount
Techie, do the calipers come with pads? Can they be specced without?

Why not get the brembos for the polo. Won't it look strange having seat sport ones. I doubt they will fit under your alloys. It's a v tight fit as is.

LCR Mk1 Brembos? Suppose that would be the best option really, however, AP calipers are better so i believe. I would get the caliper shot blasted and recoated to remove the SEAT Sport logo.
Basic price is £18,275, but thats VW OTR price, and i am paying less. Thankfully.
Yeah, I specced up one on the site just to see what it would cost and similarly specced to what I currently have on my boc, the GTi came in at just under £20500.00!!!!! No racing brakes though.............. still, anout £1500.00 difference in price. Don't like the seats tbh either, I am a VW fan but for some reason this GTi is just not grabbing me...............
As already said, the AP calipers require a hell of alot of clearance, might wanna check they fit.
