So this is really wierd. I was coming to a slow stop at a roundabout and lightly applying the brakes when all of a sudden there was this juddering and shuddering, you know, like when you're in too high a gear and the engine wants to cut out. Also the brake pedal was juddering like when the ABS kicks in. I was only doing like maybe 5mph. Has this happened to anyone else? I tried it again afterwards but seems it was fine, just wasn't expecting that and wish i had now checked what gear the car was in to see if maybe the DSG is not engaging a lower gear.

Yeah, been trying to replicate it all morning whilst driving but it happening again so I would assume all is well.

Talking of loose grit/gravel on the road, the geniuses that repair the roads round my way have desided to put some kind of glue on the road then just poor gravel over it then let cars press the gravel into the road which rapes my rear wheels.... anyway to my point, my ABS kicked in when i was driving on this shite and i was going pretty slow.

Try riding a bike over it mate, it's F*****G lethal, but that is how our local council repair roads aswell :censored:

This happens to me all the time. I actually find it quite scary as it feels like the brakes aren't working properly

Mine has done this before and its always on the same little bit of road, did it on my cupra tdi too. Its just your ABS thinking its got a job to do. Wouldn't worry.
