Get reid of the Forge BOV and see what happens. It has no benefit over the OEM Rev D recirc valve anyway.

By the way, how do you know its compressor surge?

Hi there Allan, You can clearly hear this as there is a flutter on my acceleration release. I only have this on low rev which is between 2.5 and 3 rev. But its fine when I drive a bit harder, then I just get the blow noise from the BOV which is good.

I see, so getting rid of it will help but what do I use in stead of its place? Sorry if I sound a bit slow here
I done a search on the tube to see if I could get some advise and came across this guy that used the Synchronic Blow Off Valve which helped to get rid of this surge. There was something els he did but he did not realy explain or show us how to do this. Maybe its just a marketing plan to sell us this producked.

Very good question, I think my actuator is not doing its job as I have boosted the turbo up, so I think its having delays to open and close. I was thinking of getting a new actuator to suit. Hope this makes sense?

What software you running again? Revo stage 2?

I would get rid of the BOV and buy a Rev D (spring) OEM valve from David at Seremotors (cheapest place you will buy one) if you have the Rev C valve (Diaphragm valve). Should be a reasonbly easy swap.

whats the difference between k04 and k03? if the k04 is bigger doesnt that make more turbo lag? also what sort of power do you get with the k03 and the k04?

I am not sure but think the KO3 can only give you a 1.8 boost and a constant boost of 1.3 on high rev. No sure on the KO4. I would think a boost of 1.8 on high rev not sure.

Thats not actually compressor surge. Compressor surge would only be heard when your ON the throttle, not after you let off.

Sorry mate, I don`t want to sound cleaver but I do have compressor surge and you get this with changing gears. Compressor surge sounds cool for those people that don`t know what it is.
But the cool sound is not really that cool as it is the sound of pressure forcing your turbo to spin in the other direction. NOT GOOD. :banned: Its the flutter you get at your gear changing.

Wondering if you have the Forge BOV ring/spacer of do you have the Forge Diverter Valve.
My car is on Stage 2+ and I had the Forge divertervalve with yellow spring. The valve openened too early under pressure and a fluttering sound appeared now and again. It all got better after using a blue spring but now I use the D rev dv which appeared to be the best solution for a tuned car.
