Well the French clutter has proven itself as the motorway muncher again this weekend. Late on Thursday we decided to visit the Paris Motorshow, so after flying home on Friday afternoon I picked Mrs m0rk up from home & we headed for the Eurotunnel in "the worst" rain I've driven in.

End result - in a car with no ABS, little sound deadening & partially stripped out we arrived intact back home last night after ~ 750miles. MPG in the rain took a beating in France with the car wading through the water - but a respectable 38mpg was achieved.

Even hitting a deep flood on the A3 last night at 70mph has left it unscathed

I've even bought some detailing stuff to make it sparkle more than it currently is, but it's raining still so I cba.

Cars sounding good Mark.
I've been using Rain X for several years and loved it but finally the premium detailing suppliers are starting to cotton onto this.
This is there new offering, it sounds very promising.

I find the more it rain the better these type of products perform
Going to be buying this on Monday and get it onto the car ASAP.
This proves its self when your passing a lorry kicking out gallons of spray, there is no point where you cannot see what's happening with this on your screen, unlike the traditional wiper method where there's always a few seconds where your almost blind.
Staying in Scotland this is invaluable, as you will find out

Top of the pile is a Scirroco GT

I will be truly gutted to lose the Clio, but my wife thinks that having four cars is excessive?!

Nope, We'll still have the Leon & MX5, and will just replace the Clio with the 'Roc

Must have as many fun cars as possible :D

Shame to sell the Clio! Test drive in the Roc went well then?

Very well.

Good discount offered, and the Active Dampers are exactly what you'd want.

Sadly I've been out today, and just got home to find that the cage is sold, so I've whipped that out, and refitted the back seats properly :(

I'm choosing the CR170 Manual - 170bhp & 258lbft

It's refined & drives like a remapped 1.8T - can't wait to remap it :) 200bhp & 320lbft

Nice one mate :)

I realy wanted a Rocco when I got the ED30 but also wanted it to be a k04 and couldn't afford a Rocco R :(
