on mine main beam stays on when you flash and/or hit main beam

is it Gti twin lamps on yours - if so are they original or changed to ?

I can't remember the exact one but try holding your hand on across the box and work the lights - soon narrow

Post up a close up of your headlight, we'll tell you if its got the right ones.

GTi Lights look like this:

sorry pete, looking through you build thread, it looks like you got standard headlights on but you can quite clearly see in the other pics you got gti lights.

i did change em from the gash tastic H4s to GTis BUT i got 16vs and its a cupra sport GTI on the log book!?

no i meant that i have a gti cupra sport 16v and it should come with with H1s but i had H4s, ive changed em over!

any help with the high beam main beam problem!?!?

H4's normally operate either high or low not both so maybe the car is wired that way as it was H4's originally - wierd though

if you can find the relay (reach under drivers side dash behind the glovebox probably be clicking when you flash) let me know the part number and i'll compare it with the one on mine if it helps

maybe as simple as a relay swap

were the light's plug 'n' play btw ?
