You can probably adjust the actuator yourself Karl. Get under there with bradders (carful not to cut brads head :lol:) and adjust it by one turn to open it up more then relog.
 
erm also mate wont i have to get it mapped again tho?to get the fuelling correct or is it due to too much fuel accross rev range that im cooking the turbo??

See where you get with the actuator first. See whether we start heading in right direction with the Duty Cycle when tweaking the actuator. You may fine that the car will run better and not smoke as much once actuator is working better.

Yes you may need to get the map adjusted but kenny@AmD is the expert mate and will know what needs to be tweaked where.
 
yeah mate thats ace advice that......ok well im training all this week so wont have time but maybe sat afternoon if i rest that day ill do it then...... i presume if i start to get some low down pull and no bogging i should stop at that point or shall i send you each set of logs so i can ask your advise?

Just bear in mind that your car is poorly so do not rag the car until you adjust the actuator. For accuracy purposes so you know whats happening then I would

1) adjust one turn to right
2) Log block 11
3) Check duty cycle (closer to 70-80 the better)

repeat process however if you find its making no difference then stop. Give me a ring if you need to on Sat.

I *think* from the top of the engine going clockwise. So from bottom will be anticlockwise. Dont hold me to this lol.
 
Re: 130 tdi progress, coilies now fitted, new fuel filter fitted(bogging down eased)

ok when i get paid ill be buying a new maf, new air filter(standard paper one) and winding the actuator out again.......ill be running logs at some point until i get them to 70-80% ducty cycle.......i will be speaking to amd tuesday i hope when i go over there to see if after i have done this i can ask them to remap it again as turbo dynamics seem very incapable of setting up and actuator........
 
Sorry if you mentioned this before, I couldn't seem to find it in your thread, but what wheels are have you got on at the moment?
 
i have team dynamics race1.2 atm....there very good wheels and you notice a big difference with them on:)

I haven't been on here for a while.....just purchased some golf R32 brakes.... I just have to find some disks and then ill get them fitted :)......
 
K I had a trip to ****** today to try and sort my car out....
But yet again more dissapointment
They checked everything and I mean everything, nd it seems that's its the TD turbo to true foir being poo......
I have an actuator that I am going to try on the turbo, but ill be in discussion with TD tomorrow to tell them what's what and that its been a whole year of on/off trying to sort this issue......I don't earn a massive amount if money so taking turbos on/off is not easy for me, let alone having time off workk to sort these turbo issues
- am aiming for a full refund and my costs to be paid and I think ill take legal action deending on the outcome of the phone convo tomorrow
