Dodgy door lock then as it shouldn't lock until (if activated) at 10 mph (ish)

ive known a few do this its down to the chip in the key, if you leave the car and take the key out it and not lock it it autolocks after a couple of minutes, but for some reason some of them dont see the key in the ignition and lock the car, i never leave my keys in the ignition when the engines off becuase of this, ive had a few mk4's do it aswell

I see you have had it remapped did it blow them before the remap, also you may want to try an earthing kit?

Just noticed today that if the boot is not shut properly and you lock the car it will lock but the indicators dont flash.

It really shouldn't unless your in gear and slow the car to the extent that it stalls.

When I turn my steering wheel more than 180° when going round a corner from a junction or something, I sometimes get a blow of cold air...very strange and almost eary. Even with the heating on full blast. Don't understand it lol.

I've noticed that but only in the first 10 mins of driving. Just put it down to the hot and cold air moving about in the car when turning like that

See i get a blast of hot air especially if the car isn't up to temp, but i am 100% sure i have no air lock.
