well anyway, when you ladies (JOKE) have finished with the handbag war ive just back from picking my car up from zorstec and it is FOOKING AMAZING!!
as stated its a 3" straight thru turbo back with the above tip on and its sounds exactly how i wanted it, a nice low rumble but when it opens up under load i nearly wet myself its fooking unreal
cant begin to tell you all how pleased i am with it and thats just the 30 minute ride home stuck in traffic most of the way in the freezing freezingness of oop north
all ive done i laugh to myself all the way home, money WELL spent in my eyes, i hate to stoke the fire of discontent or slag anyone elses car but i think a miltek/bf etc would struggle to give me exactly what i was looking for, which is why i always go custom.
just a couple of days to wait now and my new jetex kit will be here too.....oooo its like christmas come early

Could always get a full miltek system and have them chop the exhaust tip off and fit a new one?

Had my custom exhaust fitted today, sounds sweet, but they didnt have the tip in stock which i wanted so have just got a pipe sticking out the back of my car which is a bit embarrasin lol, so can anyone tell me the size of the miltec oval style tip please so the garage can order the right one for me?

I can't remember the dimensions but I did measure it at one point, I think it was 5"x3" or something similar. Anyway I tried to find somewhere that could supply a tip the same size (was going to buy Blueflame and have tip replaced) but never found anything. The closest I got was a genuine SEAT Sport stamped tip which was fitted as an extra on some lower MK2 Leon/Toledo models so that could be an option for you. The larger 6"x4" oval has grown on me so I'll be going for that instead now.
I just got a custom cat back non resonated system fitted to my LC yesterday with a 6x4 oval tail pipe. Looks great and sounds amazing. Really pleased with it. The large oval fits the cut out in the rear bumper on a face lift cupra a lot better than the standard twin pipes. Got it done by stainless creations in Falkirk. Top quality job.
