Latest mod - red fog LED bulb

A set of red LED bulbs (2 pack). As I have the Euro-cluster on the fiog light side, I need a red bulb. The bulb that was in there was a standard type of bulb and a bit pink so I decided to change it for an LED number. No photos as yet but the light is much redder (although not much brighter)!
Oh and another point, I have removed my smaller front plate and put the original back. I loved the look of it but I was getting paranoid every time I saw a police car. Will look into getting pressed plates. Would like Euro-font ones but I know that will be asking for hassle again!

had the same issue with the LED being to dull and the standard bulb being to pink! i just stuck with the pink one (hence you ended up with it) as it was much brighter then the LED
How can you make a red bulb redder though?!

the only thing i could think off was trying some red tint spray on the bulb but never tried it. i have the 20 something LED so the bigger bulb you have coming may be brighter!
the civic is certainly different from the derv FR. still not 100% on the honda but ill run it for now

I like the CTR, saw a lovely one the other day on the A3... slammed on coilovers over purple coloured standard wheels!
Yep, I have basically the same one as that (from a UK seller.) Not really a bright red, more the same brightness as a rear light. The only thing that makes it "brighter" is the quality and sharpness of the LED light. This will probably make a big difference in foggy conditions.... or so I hope!
Might investigate making the original red bulb a little "redder"!
