DAB,Sportrider and Formula Sport

Hi, I don't know about the other 2 but the sportrider was the last batch of mk4s and they put a few extras on them (cruise control, climate control, fr body kit, heated mirrors, old fr alloys......). They came in 1.4 and I believe a 1.9tdi.
Difference of sportrider and DAB to formula sport are
DAB
- Addition of DAB radio
Sportrider
- Addition of cruise control
- FR/Cupra rear bumper
- Looses Leather steering wheel
- Looses trip computer
- Has light grey plastics instead of black
- Has different upholstery
- Looses FR/Cupra style dials
- Has FR style grilles at front
- Addition of climate control
- Addition of heated/electric folding mirrors
Engine wise, the DAB and Sportrider came with both the 1.4 100hp and the 1.9 tdi 100hp, however, the Formula Sport only came with the 1.4 100hp.

Those sportriders sound awesomeif they did one with the pd130 engine i'd probably get one for my next car
Without being biased, yeah they are very equipped cars, i love mine
But the Formula sport model came with some real nice seats, black with red stitching.

Will be waiting a while before getting anything though being made redundant the end of the month. Shame really as I was actually looking before getting the bad news. Always the way

nothing worth spending any money on for the tiny increases you'll get, save and buy a 20vt fr or cupra then go nuts

true, and im not negative on modding 1.2 or 1.4 ive had them both and modded them, but i would like to think most would agree even if you pilled money into bhp mods on a 1.4 your never going to see that much in gains.
on a 1.2/1.4 money really should be spent on handling and cosmetic
EDIT with the exception of filters - cheap, make a good noise and add a little power

Yeh, My 1.2 Is Mostly Cosmetic Apart From The Exhaust And Panel Filter I Would Say
Still Sounds And Looks Good Though Comes with the above, and the PD130 that your looking for
