Jabbasport do Peloquin diffs.
Worth talking to them perhaps.

Driven my mates lsd equipped type r... wow what a mod. Kills understeer.

If i had the money, would be tempted by wavetrac diff though, improved quaife from what i understand.

In some applications they can make the car uncomfortable to drive though, almost like you're in 'track mode' all the time. I'm sure there's at least one person on here who took their LSD back out again as they didn't like it.

One my mate has is an extremely aggresive plate type Kazz diff. You stop concentrating, take your hands of the wheel or let the the car straighten itself up coming off an island for example and you are gonna have a massive accident!!!

I see you have a wavetrac? Am i correct in thinking it's an improved quaife type diff, that works under zero torque conditions?

How you finding it?

Where you have it fitted?

How much?

Yeah still works with zero load.

Find it different to the standard open diff, obviously, but never have been in a car with a front diff before. Wet conditions are still hair raising sometimes.

Got it fitted at my local garage for £300 and got it shipped here from INA, think it cost around £850 for the unit.

My diff is up there with my top mods.
The peloquin Jabba do are grate same as a quaife*but you get the shims and bolt kit with them unlike the quaife*wich is just the diff so it's one less expense.

This is the one you would need for the 02m gearbox (the 6speed in your Ibiza)

Iv never found mine any trouble with regards to having to work harder driving it. It's the opposite.
Reson people have trouble with some diffs is the difront types. A plate type is more like a strong clutch so can bite (would not recommend for a little daily diesel) a ATB or automatic torque biasing diff works a lot more gentily and is a lot smother (no snatch at the steering as it puts power to both wheels all of a sudden)
If you need more info I'd be glad to point you in the wright direction with regards to wright ups and Tec.

+1 for peloquin, I'm sure it's the same with quaife , you can't even tell the car has one in until youstart booting it about round corners, just drives like a normal car. I'd say you gotta be alert and hold on when you are using it to it's potential! I also found the car drove class in the snow, never got stuck once. You also get the power down a tad quicker in a straight line but you tend to just spin both wheels up, instead of the 1 with an open diff. It's a great mod, allot of money to spend in one go but 100% worth it

more alert than without one fitted.

Alert in different way I'd say. Without one you gotta be alert when your on the hoon or you will understeer into a hedge haha with one you just gotta get used to how they feel, I'm used to mine now, just feels like standard but at first it was abit strange! Still when your out for a blast on a road you know well, pegging it round the long sweeping bends at a speed you feel comfortable, then you look down at the speedo!:-o

Even more of a reason to get it fitted!
