7.5 & 8j? That's 7.5 inches and 8 inches, hopefully you got two of each so you can use them as axle sets. You'll more than likely need 5mm spacers to fit them, at least for the front. That's what I've had to do with mine with the same E43 offset, I think they're about E37 for standard but not 100%. Just make sure they clear the brake calipers by a few mm before you drive anywhere.

yeh :) 2x7.5's (fronts) 2x8's (rears) and i currently have polo steels in 14inch which are et43 i believe and there fine, mines only a 1.4 so brake clearance isnt realy an issue :)

seatman, I don't think you need spacers, as the original ronal mulitspokes are 6J ET38

and them steels were probably like 5-5.5J ET43
but never know until trial fitted :)

Yeh I had to use spacers on my 1.4 polo I used to have just to clear the calipers really. That's the main thing and also don't want them to sit to far in and look naff.:D

Yeh I need some big ones for the rear of my Cordy vario, the wheels sit way to in. What size diameter are the Vauxhall wheels?

Cool that should look quite good, my wheels are 15's but I'd prefer them to be wider, they're about 6.5 I think.

seatman, seeing as he has staggered widths, 0.5" wider rears, equates to a 12.5mm adapter (compared to the fronts)

as the widened band will be be on the outer lip
so only spacers he'd need is to clear the brakes like you said (well, if he needs it lol)

Cheers but I'm skint for now, been spendin dosh on springs, brakes, oil, fuel, tyres etc.

I think the tyres might be an awkward size, not common usually means more dosh.
