In terms of logs, I will try to get these as soon as I can and post them up. I think quite a few people want to see what the TIP is doing airflow wise on standard k04 with a stage 2 map.

If these figures are true, then I too do fear a bit for my rods I will admit. What route would you take if these are? Uprate rods first of all? Injectors? 4 bar FPR? Am still running oem 3 bar.. Would just like some advice as what preventions to take if any at this stage.
Whether the rollers are accurate or not can be talked about allday as you know, but like for like gains, it proves the 3" TIP has gained me approx 17bhp and torque up from 307 to 330 (+23 lb/ft) so I think it counts when you look at the top end torque for sure. That's where I've noticed it on the road without a doubt, pulls alot harder noticeably 4th gear up.
I would gladly bring my car to you if you we're closer! If someone pays for the petrol I will come down this week to get it rolled and for you to have a look at![]()

I presume not as it's not mentioned on the graph anywhere. The car has been logged making 23/24 psi using vag-com on 4th gear runs before and as far as I know that was PRE 3" TIP.
things of interest would be block 002 readings so injector ms is logged, from which duty cycle can be calculated... so for eg if its >19ms over 6krpms for example they would be >100% duty cycle.. which is flat out..
logging 031 fueling with the above in mind would be good, and 001, showing the lambda adjust requried to achieve its requested fueling... If they were max'd I would expect it to go leaner on 031 than request and watch 001 increase in +ve % as it tries to add fuel.. (which it wont be able to if the injectors are max'd)
4bar or larger injectors with map adjust to suit if so.
003 log for timing overall, with 020 for CF pull and 118 for actual boost and induction temps and n75 duty cycle, and 112, 031, 118 to see your egt's sky rocket into the 900's where it will want to fuel dump... Remembering if its max'd on injector duty cycle, 112 egt protection wanting to fuel dump wont be able to dump anything if there's nothing left to deliver..
remember when logging boost via vagcom can only show you the map sensors max which is 2550mb, 1.5bar boost, so if you see this on a log you may be higher... but without a real gauge on it you wont know by how much.. and whether its worrying level of boost/hence torque at that point.

All you know is its reading a "minimum" of 21.75psi where vagcom reads 2550mb when logging. A real gauge will confirm by how far over it is..
too much and I would be very nervous of my rods..
Seen 2 225 cars in the last week, which thought they ran 22psi max cos thats what Liqui/vag-com told em.. Reality was 27psi on one and 26psi on the other! EAK!
Given your peak torque is 3500rpm thats where I would expect yours to have a spike of boost - peak loads on rods at this point.
check with a pressure gauge.. I think you will need a 0-30psi gauge too!
Sounds like too much of a good thing Tomgo easy until you know what you're dealing with boost wise, a good excuse to get the boost gauge in a bit quicker!

I'm am gutted not to hit 300bhp, closest I have been is 296.8bhp. 300bhp will be achieved soon and then it will be a nice garrett under the bonnet![]()
