Dear god.

what is "the site" you refer to?

at the top of the screen you'll see a www. bit - copy that in - because we do not know what you're talking about

M0rk breathe mate, breathe...............................

Nick what ever you have found copy and paste please. P L E A S E!!!!!!!

Now you see, that was just the dealers excuse to get out of doing any warranty work on his car mate, he had major issues even before the spacer went on tbh.

Right, the comment regarding 'non' recirculation is correct I believe - since it's leaking measured air into the atmosphere - hence the air fuel ratio can be momentarily wrong.

Oh yeh like jas said the spacer didn't cause the issues I had (as the problems were there before I even bought it lol) but the dealer was saying that it had caused the issue.. All I was saying in the original thread was it's not worth the hassle leaving it in place when your car goes into the dealer lol

Mork: Yeah at the time I wasn't fully aware of what problems the spacer could be creating, but having spoken to kev at revo yesterday it's a bit worrying lol

Basically what I mentioned before, it can create problems in regards to running the engine rich after having it fitted for a while amongst other things, which when you consider how good the sound actually is makes you wonder whether it's worth the risk.. Im interested to know if the full bov system from forge could create the same problems or not as I may consider that instead further down the line.

well i was going to get a BOV spacer....now i'm not so i just spend £40 getting the rest of my interior and exterior lights white (xcl fogs wait till summer to drop the bumper)

I keep meaning to take mine off, but it was such a pain in the ass to get it on im dreading the task!

Fitted Forge spacer over a year ago, no problems, now want their new blowoff valve but no money:( No one has tried harder to break this engine than me, still going stronger than ever. 0 to 100mph - 13sec.

as far as i know our engines don't work with the recirculation. the device on the turbo where you put the spacer between(don't know the english word) releases the turbo pressure and if you listen good you van hear it blow without a spacer. the only thing the spacer does is make it sound harder. the fact is al vag engines with recirculation give faultcodes and enginelights with blow off valves so why don't we get faultcodes with the spacer?

Been to see REVO VAG SPECIALISTS today for them to get the cat back MILLTEK...REVO stage 1.. sps box... doing job next Monday.... anyway was going to have them do the FORGE BOV for me... but they recommended not to put one on.... as it could be detrimental to our car not just our , but most of the VAG GROUP.... the same as SLINTER 26 says. the chap has seen quit a few cars with problems... and it is defo down to this spacer, and said the car will loose a little power, as too much air escape..... sorry i dont know how engines run, i just know how to drive them, me thinks.... so hence, i will not be getting one on his say so , he should know !!!!! urrrrrrr i did realy want one. oh well........................................................
