Open the door so you can get at the edge of the side strips. Get a flat blade screwdriver and poke it under the edge of the side strip, however make sure you are using a soft cloth on the side of the flat blade against your paintwork to avoid scratching. Once you've lifted the corner of the side strip, just get your fingers behind it and pull the rest off. :)

Ah i just got bored of not being able to see in the dark, it really did change it. Thinking I might get some HID's later, but some uprated bulbs are good for me for now :) Might need to get some new headlights though as you might be able to see on the right (passenger) one that its scratched up on the inside and is screwing up the beam.

On another note I think gloss black banded steels may be the next venture :)

Yeah, I bet! Tbh, I can't see it. Might be a nice opportunity to get twin reflector lights :) If it makes any difference though, 3000k HIDs are much brighter than 6000k, let alone 'uprated' bulbs. That, and as I say, if you can get the ballasts, you're welcome to the H4 set I've got F.O.C.

thanks guys :) had some leftover black vinyl so did the S badge with that a while back, yeah got some pressed plates as well, lil bit cleaner :happy:. next on list is chrome indicator bulbs i think. didn't check if the lens on the front for the indicators is clear or orange, anyone know? I'm quite lazy to check elsewhere lol.

Anyone notice the red "AM" sticker on the splitter? supposed to be AMD but I don't know where the "D" went ........

cheers man, oh just wondering if the headlights are coloured orange for the indicators or is the colour because of the bulb..


oh yeah another random note, I was gonna drop the front coils down to the bottom (20mm left) but the screw that tightens the adjuster on the left side is jammed :( dunno what to do I want it loweeeeer
 
I'm also lazy so we shall sit tight and wait until someone tells us haha.

Tricky situation with regards to the small screw. You could drill it out I suppose!

WD-40...Heat Gun... mixture of these and a hammer? :p if you've got a wire brush, that might help too :) As for the indicators, think they're clear and the lamps are orange. Only one way to find out though... Go and get them out! :lol:
 
The indicator lenses are clear, just with orange bulbs. Kidinspace changed to chrome finished indicator bulbs, there are pictures in his RR somewhere.

If I'm perfectly honest I think your car looks nicer without the yellow vinyl. :)
 
Yeah gotta agree it does look better without the film. Upgraded the bulbs as well. Get a brighter light with a tiny bit of blue as well (tip of bulb is tinted blue)
Will change the indicator bulbs tomorrow i think. Tried wd40 on the screw, think it might have threaded ;(
Really need to sort out the wheels as well...... Honest opinion guys what did you think of the keskins?
 
got the clear indicator bulbs now :) they didn't have chrome but got ones that are sorta blueish, they do the job :)
 
cool, well if i get this job i recently went for I'll ring up rimstyle again and see if they can get one for me, tried about a month back and no luck :(
