What height do you have yours set at and does your height cause you to scrape on speedbumps etc.
Also how much lower is the height setting than oem suspension?

Cheers

I don't have the same kit but I have APs which lower the same amour I have wound mine down to the bottom on the front and rear , you will need to get some spacers on the front mines rubbing on the inner wall on the adjusters

Are spacers needed if only on lowest settings? What spacers would be required for this as I haven't read this problem on here despite searching.

Haha I was only joking :) , a dustbin handles and goes better than mine at the min the 1.8t doesn't work well the holes in the block ,

I should imagin it's a little lower but I set it half way then wound it to the bottom have yet to test how it drives

i have the weitec hicon gt kit and have the front wound right down with the helper springs still fitted and the rear has been dropped to suit the front, think its about halfway down at the rear

thats how mine sits right now at this height

at 1st i never caught on speed bumps but after settling down i catch my subframe ever so slightly so i have to crawl over them now. i personally wouldn't take mine any lower than it is, it still means you can give it a bootful on a "spirited" on b roads and not worry about bottoming out ;)

How many mm is it dropped by mate?

i never measured the stock height before hand

i know that from the ground to arch distance is 644mm +/- 2mm

best way to see how much i'm lowered is to size this distance on a stock LCR, then this will give you an idea of how much its lowered by

i reckon mine is lowered around 35mm but don't quote be on that

well whatever height i am at, it suits me perfect

i've done the whole "slammed" thing before..... always ends in tears

i went through 3 sumps and god knows how many splitters in my mk3 golf vr6 and i went through 2 anniversary splitters in my mk4 golf pd150 (one of which was a genuine one )
