Hi, i was told yesterday my car isnt getting as much air in as it could do with.

So im wondering what intake to use would it be pd160 set up or maybe something different.

I would do a search but when i do my computer more or less crashes :(

Thanks

Or if your skint then you can also smooth out your air box (DIY jobby) and buy a green panel filter to replace the original one, I found this to have the exact same effect as buying a pd160 intake, feels torquier lower down and revs a bit more freely. There are so many threads on this topic it would probly be worth taking a good browse through the mk4 threads.

That doesn't matter, it still uses the original airbox. The intake is just a pipe that runs from the front slam panle to the airbox!

Here is a comparison of the standard part (left) and pd160 intake (right)

what Mike says!

Change the panel fitler for a greens or KN...heard Greens is better...then get the pd160 intake hose and trumpet...straight swap and takes 2 mins to change...I then cut out the flaps on the inisde of it as well..

Knight85, what flaps are you cutting out? The ones in the intake hose and trumpet or the air box?
