Been long time since I was on here as our laptop is now ruined so now using my iPod touch to post this! Effort! But I ordered my bov spacer, should be here this week sometime. Just want to know is it easy to fit? I don't know much about engines but know various bits. So just a heads up on whether to do myself or get someone with know how to do it. Cheers

It's fiddly so be patient. It's not a 100% perfect fit, which is why i had my first one fitted at P-torque so they modified the connection slightly although its not a must. Good luck :p :D

Hmmm interesting! May have to have a fiddle got small hands so will try, is it just a fitting on? Or do I remove something?

It's tricky to fit, but as said if you are patient its easily possible. I'm not that practical either but I managed ok :)

Any ideas on the difference jc? And it wasnt to bad to fit just abit tight just dont drop the bolts!

Don't drop the bolts ah I love hearing that! Haha! Will be interesting this then! I got the spacer not the dump valve.

Fitting it was ok, its just that the bottom bolt was a complete fanny to get back in as I have hands that look like they came from a shaved down gorilla. :D

gonna get me 1 of these on pay day...just for pure attention seekingness since i split with the mrs of 4 years haha!! will put a smile on my face :p

Rossers, you gonna get the £60 spacer or the £180 BOV?

Im kind of tempted to get the BOV but I haven't had the spacer that long tbh. I wonder if it makes a better noise?

Yeah that's right. Due to what i've heard regarding the spacer possibly causing long term unwanted problems i'm going to contact forge in relation to the full bov and see what they say. If it seems the way to go i'll be ripping the spacer out and get the proper set up lol So much money draining away on the car these days....

from what ive read on the forge website the whole BOV system (expensive one) is only for cars which are running increased boost pressures OR are OEM but in warmer climate as some of their OEM valves are failing.

Quote from the forge website
"It is recommended for any vehicle where the boost pressure has been increased by an ECU software upgrade and for unmodified vehicles operating in warmer climates, as a solution to the many failures of the OEM valve, that have occurred."

Im just gonna go for the £60 one put it on for some fun but i can take it off if i need warranty work or have any probs....makes for a simpler life as im most likely not going to get my car revo'd till i can afford another daily drive :(

EDIT: I live in Scotland....soooo warmer climate isnt really a problem....ever......
