Great news Tom! The service that you got from AMD is exactly why I keep taking my car back to them :).

Cheers J :)

Yeah, everytime I've been down there they've never been at fault with the work on the car or service they've provided to me. I was so grateful yesterday on the way home. It really was a scary experience as I was going a bit quicker than last time one of the hoses popped off. Plus it was rush hour and the car wanted to cut out in the middle lane... Not ideal. But a quick call to AmD and I felt reassured I'd be on my way.

10 out of 10 for service provided. Really good to see some tuners do actually care about you and your car as much as the cash you hand over to them.

Totally agree... It speaks volumes about how much they care about their customers. This is why my car is booked in for the end of the month for a full, even though it's a 2 & 1/2 hour round trip.

I've been meaning to get my cars service there for a while but never actually did. My new LCR can with 5 years of AmD / big boy toys service history, i felt it would be rude not to continue the AmD service history.

Is it wrong that im excited about a service?

No I was excited about my service earlier in the year too, and the car felt smoother/quicker after for sure. It's a good thing to do and prevents other problems further down the line..

Defo worth keeping it stamped up down there, and you know they'll do a great job as per usual.

Superb mate, glad it's all sorted now ONWARDS and UPWARDS!!!!

AMD - that's just great service right there

Thanks Tyrer :)

Defo onwards and upwards. I don't like it when the car is sick at all, so hopefully now she'll stay fault free for a long time and I can concentrate on some exciting mods/work over the upcoming months.

Hoping the car will be done by the time the year is out! :funk:

Glad to see most things went well mate, shame you couldn't get the gauge fitted and that you broke down :(

AMD seem like a top company, will have to pop down that way when I want some tuning done ;)

Hope you're enjoying the faultless LCR :)

Cheers mate. Yeah gauges will be looking into to resolve that soon.. Breaking down was annoying but it's the stupid un-beaded lower fmic pipes causing the problem. Everything else is beaded.

I spoke to Hayward & Scott in Essex who bead piping, and they can do mine for £20. I've just gotta get over there to get them off and done in the not too distant future.

They are a great bunch mate, been spot on with me and my car.

I'm about to clean her up, it's her treat for being faultless!

Thanks Nick! :)
It's a bit grubby now and just needs a good buff up, but I'm off to DK's on Sunday so fingers crossed it'll look a bit more mint .

yeah I've bought some autosol metal polish from halfords and I give mine a quick buff once a week when I clean the car only takes 5 min and it has been getting more and more like a mirror everytime I do it. The only problem is the charge pipe is stainless steel and the mani is Ali so it would be difficult to get them to match as they have a different shine. But still looks mint. I'm sure DK will have your bay gleaming :D

I will be doing exactly the same from now on mate. Going to do the mani, charge pipe and milltek tailpipe everytime I clean the car or have time to do it!

Yeah I did think that the mani will be a different less mirrored finish compared to the charge pipe, but hopefully alot of elbow grease over time will get them fairly close in the mirror look.

No fault codes now at all really happy mate. Car is driving well! Knock sensor one seems to have gone an maybe been thrown because of the lambda sensor, which has been replaced :)

I'm glad your car is running well too mate. Good stuff!

Both look awesome. Darren's does look slightly lower, thought it was due to the dark wheels giving that effect but you have just confirmed yours is slightly lower

Cheers Daz!

Only just seen these pics. The difference in the bay is unreal. Love it!

Our cars do seem to compliment each other well in pics I must say. Near on 600bhp combined looks good through your lens...

Mine will be going lower soon, but not by much. But it will be ;)

Thanks for the comments guys! :D

Both cars are looking awesome:D, very jealous of the standard of both of them.
What do you both use to clean the bay?

Thanks mate :) You've gotta be proud of your LCR though! TBH it's one of the better one's on here and I'm subscribed to your thread and always keep an eye on it.

DK cleaned mine ;)

He used autoglym vinyl and rubber care and speed detailer I think. But he will confirm..
I was nosing around his car alot of the time getting more food for thought!
