again im not sure as it was already done when i bought the car, was told it was stage 1 though and the guy i got it off was a cc dealer (i think) so assume he would know! its not got a fmic or anything.

300 is not possible from a standard ko4.. speaking to a well known turbo company a ko4 is out of puff at 260 bhp. so my 280 is a load of bull as well. ill go on a set of rollers any day with someone who claims 300 bhp just not ones that either of the cars have been on so its fair!!!

maybe before the advent of things like 3" TIPs

2 K04 cars have now just got a little over 280bhp on my dyno.. One an S3, one an LCR
Most k04 cars make 250-260bhp range on this dyno

unless you are knocking on the door of 240g/s or running uber octane fuel, you wont be making 300bhp power

That VVT map was subject to loads of doubt. You'll notice that JBS are no longer a sponsor on here, I think their wide boy claims might have caused them to fall out with a few people here and across the R32 community.

Talking of JBS mines in garage at moment having turbo-mani gasket fitted!! JBS supplied my mani and hybrid k03!! cross threaded the bolts on turbo hence reason why gasket has blown after 2 months have had to send it to engineers to get it all re-threaded 2nd turbo from them as 1st blew up after a week ive not sent it back to JBS as want this turbo to remain good....
i have got alot of other mods but with this turbo i am seeing 320bhp blitz sbc does help tunning alot.

its a 18t auq cupra not a lcr..been sorted now have just picked it back up going sweet again. but its a k03 hybrid.....k03 with k04 internals

yes ive paid for it to be corrected at least its now been done by somebody whos competent enough to know what their doing. Wont let JBS any where near it from now on.
