Front and Rear 'S' badge removal for painting

Need some help guys & gals.
I know its been covered before in parts of other threads, but i really want to get my two 'S' badges off to get them painted.
Tbh I'm not too confident in getting them off and back on again and would really appreciate any help from those who've already done it.
Thought it would be good to have a thread for removal. I'll take pics of the process and post here when i do it

managed to get the badges off thanks to the excellent guides from Techie.
Snapped a mushroom clip getting the front grille back on.

I wanna do my back one in white but dunno what white would look best.

I would do the chrome surround black as well, and get some tinted headlights!

thanks char, took the vinyl off now, got a couple made up incl a couple of stormtroopers. ask techie which white he used on his badges. if you got the paint code halfords could make you up some candy white.

wish i had now when i had everything off tbh m8. looking into tinted headlights, i like the idea of having the actual cluster painted in charcoal or something.

i really like the silver mirrors, wouldn't want to go black, what other colours could be considered?

white? lol.

Silver, white and black isn't a fab combo IMO. Obviously if you like that, keep that! Where as mine is sort of the black and white. Hence the black caps i bought and now have white sitting around...

Hi,

I would like to re-spray my seat badges and also the cupra writing on the back. How would I remove the cupra writing. I am going to mask the rear badge and spray it, but I don't think it will be easy masking around the letters, so does anyone know if I can take them out and spray them, then be able to put them back on easily? Or is it easier to buy new ones?
