dog bone mount

which is the best dog bone mount to buy..does it make much difference on grip and handling, would like sum opinions please.

i have the full ths kit but have only got round to fitting the dogbone mount. i must say it has made a massive difference over stock, car feels flatter when booting it and im sure its helped with grip. not vibrations in the cabin like the powerflew dogbone bush.
this is in my top 5 mods to do and even on a standard car it will work wonders, cant wait to get the other 2 mounts fitted, heres a link

I have the top 2 engine mounts made by vibratechnic i pick up soon
With regards to the dogbone i am looking at the VF engineering one, anyone running this?? it looks virtually solid

fitted powerflex other day and its 100 times better get the power down without the tcl coming on.

ouch £220 il just do the dog bone mounts if you can do that? which are the best for the Cupra R? would this sort out my car juddering like fudge when i boot it?


is this all a dog bone mount is? £21.06 for Powerflex ones? are they not the best though?... they do have a lifetime warrenty!? do i just need one or do i need a set (two? neeeeeewbee

you only need one. However the powerflex ones cause a lot more vibration through to the cabin. I've ended up using half of the powerflex and half of the original. Still firmer but reduces the vibration a bit. I think the THS one is supposed to be better vibrationwise

hello dude, with the ths you dont just get the bush, you get a whole new mount that is a slightly better design than oem, thats why they cost more.

powerflex just sell bushes.

If you aren't worried about the vibration some of the VW boys have removed the mount and replaced with a solid bar, so zero movement

Two weeks ago i upgraded my dbm with the powerflex bushes and the results are superb. Don't be gay and ensure you do the small bush also. I'm fancying black forest for the side mounts.
