Simple question really, which rear wiper do you like best.? I dont care what it performs like as i dont use the dam thing i just want a good looking rear end ? i was so set on the polo rear but now im umming and arhhing as i kinda like the clean lines of the facelift rear wiper..

I had facelift... swapped to polo as its smaller/neater... then took it off as it wasn't much use and it looks less cluttered without it

Renders the car completely useless for actually driving then though doesnt it... unless you can drive properly without using rear view mirror?

Bet the car looks nice sat on the drive though.

What about it? I would expect any vehicle where you cannot see out of the back to be driven with maximum car and consideration at all times.

Well it doesn't "render it useless for actually driving" does it?

Obviously every vehicle should be driven with maximum care and consideration at all times - rear wiper or not, it makes no difference.

If my car did not have a rear wiper i would keep it under a nice cover, then polish it up and take pics of it on my drive to post up in my readers ride. Certainly not a drivers car

The only time the lack of rear wiper is an issue is if its thrashing it down.

I find it worse smearing diesel soot across the window or using the washer for a nice dribble of it down the boot!

I didn't find it any hardship doing 100 miles a day commute with no rear wiper.

The smooth airflow over the top of a saloon car drags all the rain etc off the rear windscreen so they have no need for a rear wiper really. Hatchbacks on the other hand have turbulent air right behind the rear windscreen which drags up all the rain/dirt/general road crap.

I still run with no wiper though, I've only ever had trouble seeing out the back once and that was driving on filthy roads, and the dirt roads where rally stage parking is.

Infact, I ran my last Ibiza de-wipered too and still have the wiper, so whoever bought that has got a nice free mod already
