Hi, I would like to know if it is at all possible to change the settings in the trip computer?

I get an on screen speed gauge but it is only in KPH. Is it possible to change?

I also have this...

Which I thought was the on screen MPH gauge. Except is doesn't move.. It doesn't do anything but have those 3 lines there.

I'm not sure if you can change any of the settings... But you can use that function to set a warning for exceeding a certain speed I believe. When I picked mine up it had a default installed at 70 :p Whenever I went above 70 you'd get an audible noise and it would flash your speed on the computer. I assume that's the purpose of it anyway... :D

That could also be the avg MPH reading, i think it has that function at least but yeah, law requires both MPH and km/h readings so it can not be changed sadly.

It's actually quite useful - I have mine set to 85mph.

And there's no way to change the km/h to mph. It's in digital because there are no km/h markings on the analogue speedo and by law km/h has to be somewhere.

:O

You went above 70!?

Im sure with some vagcom witchcraft you can make it display mph instead of kph. the law only requires a speedo to display ether mph or kph, not nessaserly at the same time.

Loads of people reccon it cant be done but the same was said about turning off the cornering lights.

the kph is for when u got abroad, because there isnt kph on the speedo....

Its possible to change it on a Fabia but it also has a temperature option so it might not even be the same system. Shame
