LCR EXHAUST - Scorpion or Cobra?

My 06 LCR back box is fallin to bits and I gonna invest in a new CAT BACK system. I am gonna have either a Cobra or a Scorpion system. The car is RE-MAPED with FORGE dv and n249 bypass. I am looking for a nice sound but not too loud, also it has to look good, fit well and last forever!

Tell me about your experiences with these systems.

I didn't know they made the mk1 LCR on an 06 plate.

I've heard a few good things about Cobra but only the turbo back 3" system.

Cobra all the way non res is loud on full chat but not too bad just driving normally

Yeah, my LCR was registered on 21 Jan 2006, one of the last I think. I think the Res version would suit me better as I dont like it loud. Did u have the re-map before the exaust mod, what difference it make? I have a standard airbox with a K & N filter, should I upgrade to a cone?

Vote for a miltek here Mines a non res but you wouldnt even know it was fitted when driving sensibly.

But out of those 2 the OP has asked about. I'd go for Scorpion as I've not heard much about Cobra systems.

I have a scorpian decat and it sounds very tinny also the welds are rubbish and is blowing, I will be getting the cobra system personally.

Not a direct comparison but I'm on a scorpion non res turbo back with sport cat on an Ibiza and I'm thinking of changing due to noise level and fitment....

scorpion Cat back on my LC (generally shouldnt be far different to the LCR sound)

its subtle and does not drone at all on long runs

has center silencer too
