hi guys just had my car on the fault reader and the fault it came up with is saying that i havea pressure drop between turbo and throttle valve intermittent does any one know what this is. i have a slight suspicion that it could be a intake hose thats split or could my turbo b on its road out cheers for any help

If you had a split pipe, this is a boost leak, replace the pipe, clear the code and see if it comes back.Failing that get a boost leak test done, is the car remapped.
no the car is totally standard i got it from an old lady i wonder if it my b due to it hardly being on boost n then when i got it its never off boost as i am a firm believer of its built for abuse
Loads of reasons for split pipes, some of them just perish over time, I have had many pipes go bad on me.

2003 LCR mate i got the codes reset and its been fine although under boost oin 2nd 3rd and 4th earlier on tonight it splutterd and sounded funny a kinda funny sucking noise that made my suspicions of a split pipe even more believable

it did around 60 miles a week for 5 years that what her husband told me she was in her early 50s at leest so i think i have found a bargin lmao
