Hi guys, here's my latest project which is also my daily driver

Started;
Candy white
Sport Estate
1.6 TDI 105bhp. 250N torque

I then added;
black mats with white piping
A boot liner
And iPod holder USB

I then added a bonnet bra as I do a lot of motorway miles and didn't fancy the old stones chipping away the candy, this is taken off every week and cleaned an vac'd to avoid any light scratches to the clear-cote.

This is what it can get like being used all week;

and whoever owned this for the first 9 months of its life did not wash it with any care at all there were swirls all over it

so paint correction and full detail was needed, won't bore you will full pics of process, I will leave that for the detailing section.

Needs some info on front lights lads?? where to get them from and price etc and obviously what ones?? lol

I have just bought some range rover wheels mate;

As for lights - whats the difference between mine and the cupra&Boc ones? is it worth it? whats the cost? or do I just change my bulbs? and if so which ones do i buy? and where from? sorry for all the questions hahaha

Cupra ones have a black inside bit ratehr than chrome, will cost about £160 though SERE did have a deal where you sent your old ones back and got £40 (iirc) back for them.
Alternative is the hard way and split and paint them yourself.
Ultra bulbs seem to be the popular choice on here for both sidelights and main beam, though one or two have said the main/dipped aren't as useful as the std bulbs so i'm holding fire on changing those over.

As nightflight says, cupra/boc ones have black inside rather than chrome. Have a look on my rr ride at end its on there. I split mine and sprayed them

along with the bootliner

passenger side and rear were perfect but drivers side didn't quite fit over both of the lugs properly, no biggie thow they look nice a subtle

Unless you have xenons now you can't retrofit them as you would need washers and levelers.
You can get cupra with the standard halogens so you just unclip all plugs. Bumper off then swap over

Could either get them from dealers or David at sere on here does them. Make a thread on his page.

Look at the faq section for the mk5 for the bulbs then just ebay

Have a look in the mk5 FAQ section, there's a whoel thread for which bulbs are needed for which model.
Once you've got the bulb codes from there whack the bulb code and "ultra" into ebay search and it'll bring them up, typically a blue package with red (iirc) Ultra" written on it.
From memory you'll want 4x 501 bulbs for the sidelights, 2x H4 and 2x H7 to do the dipped and main beams.
And some silvatec (or cheap alternative) indicators to get rid of the fried egg look. can't remember what the code for them is of top of my head.
No point getting silvatec side repeater bulbs unless you also get replacement side repeaters as the standard repeaters have an orange lense in the unit.
In terms of side repeaters, ones for the Seat Arosa or mk6 fiesta fit though require a little bit of filing to go in properly, ones specifically for the 6j ibiza rarely appear on ebay.

Actually really like this and look forward to progress. Not the biggest fan of Mk5 Ibiza's although the estate looks great, especially in white.
