Yeah iv been looking on youtube at reviews and exhaust videos and the red is really growing on me.

Its sad mate, there complaining about crap salesman (of which there are many) so I come on here to go the extra mile and find out real figures and thats not good enough either?? cant help some people!

I think iv decided a Boca has to be my first choice cos i like to have the best ha ha.

Why do you only have it for a year mate? is it a scheme your on? I genuinely could do something for you if your serious, we do distance selling all the time and your covered incase your not happy. Anyway enough of using the forum to my advantage ha ha.

Its a shame all the review videos on youtube are foreign. would love to see a top gear review.

Hi mate, yeah this is the one we have in now, it's been to bodyshops and come back looking perfect. I'm
Chris btw, I don't remember you coming in though so must of been off?

You should come back an have a look round it if your still interested.

Hiya, I bought an FR at start of December from yourselfs its darkish grey not sure the colours exact name, I have to pop to hornbeam business park to service centre later on so might pop in and see the car, are you working today?

I might ask for you if I pop in later on so hopefully there are not so many Chris's around.

Also there is a meet this Sunday if your interested I'm pretty sure you can learn loads with regards to mods and that :)

Thanks Dan that would be really helpful, Im off today unfortunately but im back in tomorrow and there are loads of Chris' typically. The colour of your car is track grey, they look very nice in that colour.

If you do pop in at anytime im sat at the middle desk when you go into SEAT, usually have a a black superdry coat on.

You won't regret getting speed blue..best colour about. Every credit for you actually taking a care in your job and finding out from the customers what the cars are actually like.

The likes of Rob well your gaining experience from the customers...SEAT dont teach you that.

:censored:

So you shut your mouth or 'button it'. Give the guy a break, i mean what a way to welcome a guy to the forum.

Cool you sure you didn't show me around the car when I bought it?

Also I don't know when next popping in, I could try tomorrow.

By any chance you couldn't remember the price of speed blue one and will it now be registered cat d?

well in 12 months i can VT the car, i am not happy with this one, i have had many issues but would be more than willing to have another cupra as when its working they are unrivaled in alot of ways. id like a speed blue one or a red, fancy a change from white as ive had it and also its a bit more comon, so when the time is right chris by all means u can see if u can do me a deal. i'll happily travel the distance if the price is right

I do have a soft spot for it, there is a tdi FR ibiza and a Leon FR tdi both in speed blue and there both parked up right behind my desk so i spend alot of time drooling ha ha.

Thanks for the vote of confidence also :D

Yeah im pretty sure mate, there is another lad called Chris but tbh i dont remember us having a track grey Cupra? do you remember what date you bought/collected it?

The speed blue one is up at £12k with 16k on clock and no its not registered cat D, it was only a bump, just cosmetic.

Ah did you take it over 2 years? you must be making decent sized payments on that mate.

Yeah of course i'll sort you out Ads, im obviously in this to make some money but im not greedy, its important to me that people walk away very happy that way they will come back to me for there next car and my job will be much easier.

Nath when and where is the meet on Sunday?

Oh sh*t Dan i know who you are, you bought the car from Steve up in Mazda, a track grey FR with Xenons, was a lovely car that mate.

Yeah i did talk to you about it for a while and said to get yourself on the owners club when you were asking me about changing your DRL's to LEDs. I took your Corsa for a quick spin too.

Sorry mate it was Dan that mentioned it not you. I should of realised from the fact that you live no where near me ha ha.

Yep LOL got it off Steve and have you still got the corsa now or you sold it? How did you find the corsa and good?

Yep FR sorry not cupra and the meet is at xscape at castleford overflow car park at 12

Thanks mate, I did initially register on here on my 2nd day so I could learn more about what you guys thought about the cars. any genuine selling points as well as any bad points to be aware of.

@Dealer1986, I'm not trying to cause trouble here but I am intrigued by your above comments.

Given you have now been a member of this forum for three months and admit your interest is with the Cupra and Bocanegra, you must have read a few threads relating to the problems these models suffer ie the missfires.

If I was to come into your showroom and show interest in a Cupra or Boc, would you be up front and enlighten me as to the problems you now know these models can suffer?

Oh yes very clever but as I did say I'v only been here a couple of months and yes I can quote official figures all day long but I want to know what the cars are really like to live with and drive on the commute everyday, how am I suppose to know what they are like modified just because I have been selling them for 2 months?

I think some people expect too much, if you had been working for o2 for 2 months could you tell me how much my bill will be?

probably!

You may think its silly, but I would assume you to know this anyway and research it, or else you are just another boring salesman. I loved the one i bought my car off , knew everything about it inside and out including the stats of the revo remaps available!

now that what a dealer should be like :p
know all the stats and what can be done to the car to make it faster and better ;) haha

i bought my car from autoworld in chesterfield and the bloke there was good, just wish he knew about insurance for the cupra so i bought one of them instead of my sc lol

Hi Dan and Dealer 1986 :)

im the reason Dan got an ibiza i'd like to think coz I bought a Tribu Cupra and were good mates ;)

Glad that your on here you might get some good leads from here as well. I think the Cupra is brilliant. had a missfired issue on on mine (4months and 900miles) on it as it was a showroom demo. got the plugs/injectors/coil pack/HT leads all swapped out in 2 days was very happy with the service and ive not had a problem since.

Its a brill little hot hatch as standard and ive just had mine remapped and its just more of the same. so bloody good :)

Dan what kinda meet is it at Xscape- I'll come meet you guys and Dealer(apologies, forgotten your name if youve mentioned it) you can have a good look around my car.

Oh and MPG wise- I live in leeds my commute is only 10mins so never gets to warm up properly but when I got for drives once its warm I do give it some stick and I still get 31mpg average out of it.

And as for the guys flaming him for trying to learn from the customers rather than manufactuers handbook i'd like to say well done to him. Seat isnt going to tell him about the bad parts(faulty spark plugs ect) because it could prevent him from making a sale. Plus, Customers no best and I doubt that there are many Seat Dealers that sell Cupras like hotcakes. Its not really your run of the mill car. I see more Focus RS's , renaultsports and the like than cupras on the road. My dealer in huddersfield only had this (as a showroom demo) and one other white Boc and said that they dont sell many Cupras as a group so I imagine that day in day out the Original Poster(OP) is dealing with leons with 1.2tsi's and ibiza's with NA engines ect.

If you came in and sid you were looking at one and what are they like to run then yes I would tell you they can suffer certain issues and how to fix them or who to speak to if a problem occured. I think you guys have me all wrong and maybe thats down to negative experiences with dealerships / salesman in the past?

I am just a genuine car enthusiast who has started a job in sales so i can sell what i like, cars.

If i hadn't said i was a car salesman would there even be a debate ongoing here? no. So I dont understand why a few of you are trying to make an issue of this?

Also i did register on here a while back but have only started using the forum the past 3 days.
