Hi Dan and
Dealer 1986
im the reason Dan got an
ibiza i'd like to think coz I bought a Tribu Cupra and were good mates
Glad that your on here you might get some good leads from here as well. I think the Cupra is brilliant. had a missfired issue on on mine (4months and 900miles) on it as it was a showroom demo. got the plugs/injectors/coil pack/HT leads all swapped out in 2 days was very happy with the
service and ive not had a
problem since.
Its a brill little hot hatch as standard and ive just had mine remapped and its just more of the same. so bloody good
Dan what kinda meet is it at Xscape- I'll come meet you guys and
Dealer(apologies, forgotten your name if youve mentioned it) you can have a good look around my car.
Oh and MPG wise- I live in leeds my commute is only 10mins so never gets to warm up properly but when I got for drives once its warm I do give it some stick and I still get 31mpg average out of it.
And as for the guys flaming him for trying to learn from the customers rather than manufactuers handbook i'd like to say well done to him. Seat isnt going to tell him about the bad parts(faulty spark plugs ect) because it could prevent him from making a sale. Plus, Customers no best and I doubt that there are many Seat
Dealers that sell Cupras like hotcakes. Its not really your run of the mill car. I see more Focus RS's , renaultsports and the like than cupras on the road. My
dealer in huddersfield only had this (as a showroom demo) and one other white Boc and said that they dont sell many Cupras as a group so I imagine that day in day out the Original Poster(OP) is dealing with leons with 1.2tsi's and
ibiza's with NA engines ect.
