Telling you is almost impossible even if the EPAS stays on during sleep it doesnt suck power unless you are constantly turning the mechanism.

Unless its EPAS keeping everything else awake?

Batterys are covered under warranty....

Happy to stand corrected! I thought Seat would go down the route that (like brake pads etc) a car battery was a consumable so after a short period of time they would no longer be replaced under warranty - certainly well before the end of the Seat 3 year wattanty. Possibly the software update for the battery drain problem might have some bearing on Seat's decision on the battery.

Batterys are covered regardless for the full 3 years or 60 k warranty limit, although in this instance i,m sure the central electrics s/w update was the cause of the battery going flat and this has damaged the battery itself, once lead calcium batterys have been completely flattened they dont recover very well...
Cheers

Just checked in the handbook. It says the LED in the door goes off if the car is unused for 28 days but the alarm continues to function.

All batteries will be covered under warranty from defect for 3 years minimum, sometimes longer depending on car.

Even if you bought one from halfords you'd get a 2-5 year warranty.

been having problems with the battery on mine since i got it repaired but to clarify
the alarm has its own battery backu, unsure if it piggybacks off your starter battery for charge or is charged sepratly by the altenator but if you lock the car and remove the battery the alarm will sound.
