The 008 is just the new model of 007 I believe and is probably pretty much the same

I have the 007p with a green spring and an open cone and its stupidly loud!

The green spring will make the boost less 'snatchy'

I have a 007p but it's not loud just pretty subtle, with cone filter. It's not cold side though so maybe that makes it a lot noisier ?!?

Its an adjustable one so you can change the settings (similar to split r).

Its a part re-circ part bov.

I've tried a turbosmart and split r. Neither were a patch on the 007p. I found with the the 50/50 valves that it made the car lagier and less responsive.
