Still no reply from seat... Keep ringing about getting a spare key too, always told I'll get a ring back and I never lol

Would be interested to see how this pans out as the clocks have given up the ghost on my just purchased Tdi Sport, I'm eyeing a set of FR ones too if they can be a direct replacement.

I managed to fit a four gauge at the weekend. It's from the Ibiza/Cordoba !.9TDI and seems to be working okay.

Only issue noted so far is that the mileage is wrong and the immobiliser light is on. Car runs fine, so maybe the immobiliser has been bypassed already.

Awaiting a K+Can Commander to see if I can rectify those issues and hopefully will test against a Sat Nav to see if the speedo is out by much.

Good news I haven't had time to ring about it. Immobiliser can be coded and I know mileage can be done via vag com

Hoping I can get the information from the dead cluster and an SKC code with Commander so I can get it working.

Then I still want some FR clocks. :D

I take it you need the SKC code to do the mileage with VCDS.

Mileage is not doable with vag-com unless its a brand new unit, and then it can be changed only once I believe, or possibly it can be rolled forward once. Mileage is stored in the ECU aswell. The immobiliser can be coded with vag-com but not without a login pin /skc.

information from the dead cluster can be done by removing the IC and reading it in a programmer if the not readable via OBD, though with a login pin, you should just be able to code it in.

My cable has been posted buddy, I'll keep you up to speed with how things are getting on.

Not sure mate. I'll buy a fr dash soon I think and see if I can get it to work

Well good luck, and keep us posted. It looks to me like it should work one coded in. Try get clocks with the same MPH calibration. Some go to 140mph and some to 160mph although I believe all the 130BHP and above will be calibrated to 160mph.
