Those wheels look class! Nice flake off the paint.

I wouldn't personally do that 1 centre cap of each the VAG brands thing. I hate Seat/VW etc. centre caps on wheels that aren't OEM. I'd just get carbon effect BBS centre caps.

Think I'm gonna do it anyway ;D
If it does look truly terrible I'm going to buy BBS caps too.

A guy I know said this after I facebooked the alloys on Christmas day
"BBS RXII I belive. 2 peice barrel split. Came stock on high trim Polo 9n's and golf mk3 anniversaries."

Either way, BBS goes nicely with VAG cars.

Ah that's right, they did come on MK3 anni's. Don't think they came on 9n Polo's though, the GT TDi came with BBS Montreal 2's. So they did come with VW centre caps as standard. Still prefer BBS one's though. :p

Agreed, BBS suit them so well!

So techincally I'll be keeping it OEM?
I'll get all the centre caps and switch them around at my leisure and for different events throughout the year I think!

Haha, woo!
Thanks matey, I'll be pic whoring as soon as they're on, and will be updating with new pics probably next week as thankfully a new wing mirror arrived today, so that'll be getting fitted and the front end of the car will hopefully be being dropped at the same time.

just read your thread from the beginning, made some really good progress
i'l have to keep my out when i'm out and about

Good news!

Just a quick update here!

The car will now definitely see many new changes within the upcoming months as I've managed to get myself a job down at my local Skoda dealership as a valeter, which I'm really chuffed to bits about. Finally got some work, at a decent place too!

I'm going to get my BBS's on halfway through April and am thinking of a couple of things to do in terms of the paintwork, such as a gloss black backing on the front bumper behind the numberplate, and the same thing in the middle part of the rear diffuser. Might also look into getting the roof & spoiler done too, possibly also the lip on the front bumper under the lower centre grill.

Also will be looking into getting a nice custom stainless steel cat-back exhaust system put on the car and will also investigate into an induction kit too. Any suggestions?

When this weather clears up I'm also getting the front of the car lowered some more.

It's not super-detailing sorta thing but I learned a couple of things in the trial and will probably learn a bit more too. Either way if I'm cleaning cars every day for the next however long then I'll probably get even better at it. Might enter some show 'n' shine comps at random events through the year or something just for the sake of it :p
