ok right another guy got is car mapped stage 1 made 251 bhp with stock car , fitted the B5 v2 Tip and made minor tweaks and got 272 bhp i was a bit skeptical at first about 20bhp + from just the tip but wow , if you have a lcr/s3 i you don't have one you need one is all i'm saying . badger 5 big thanks to you for exploiting the best out of k04 , also with the help to develop a reliable k04 exhaust manifold us LCR boys might it a realistic 300bhp on your dyno
 
fair enough, i wana know the gains from the mani alone. whether thers power there, or just prolonging the power but not necessarily gaining any
 
there is defo power mate , to be honest anything is an improvement over oem manifold its shocking how restrictive it is as a famous tuner said (name can't be mention) with the relentless mani on egt are way down so more timing can be added, more timing=more power :)
 
nice, i assume your on a bout n gower, been trying to get hold of him to no avail.
i think i going to have to invest in a mani at some point, as i know my mani has hair line crack in it, although its not gone throw the casting.....yet.
hows the tip treating you ?

I think im gonna have ti bite the bullet and get one of these, one question though...How does the billet adaptor seal to the turbo? I understand it's got a grub screw to keep it there but what creates an actual seal?
 
Badger 5 V2 TIP is the one to go for. If you want to know what creates the seal between the adaptor and turbo inlet, look in the Badger 5 section. Bill has done a guide on how to fit it ;)
