got a boost gauge fitted? (real one not liqui)
boost will be pretty high to get a flutter..
check DV is staying shut also.. if yellow spring already consider some shims to see if this changes it

I put one shim in the valve the other night, hasn't made any difference - still seems to give a fluttering sound when coming on full boost, particularly in 4th. I have another one I can try but what I'm thinking is that cos my valve is not in reverse, how can it be the valve getting pushed open when the boost is hitting the side of the piston instead of the bottom?

May undo the N249 bypass at the weekend and see if that helps.

your boost at 3000-4000rpm is going to be quite high I think...
what do you see it boost to at those rpms in the gear you hear the noise?

Just got back from getting my Badger V2 induction kit fitted , together with a FMIC.
Very happy.
Car feels a lot more responsive and pulls so much harder.

Which fmic did you go for?

Car will definitely pull harder with the TIP and the fmic helps to maintain that power, although with current temps it won't do as much of a job as it would in the summer but still a great mod for these cars.

Quick cameraphone picture. More later when it stops raining

About 1.6bar peak at 3500, this is the graph that came out of the rolling road day in 4th:

EDIT - could the fluttering noise maybe just me being able to hear the N75 valve dumping air back into the TIP? It uses charge air to operate the actuator doesn't it? The flutter seems more rapid to start with but slows off a bit before it disappears completely once I get higher up the rev range.
