re the injectors, i dont want to pay a grand for an extra 25 30 bhp really. Would probably need a diff too
Sorry what do you mean a diff? Why would you need a new differential & would that add power or what does it do & why would the standard cupra tdi diff need replaced?
Where can you get the injectors for 500? do you need another map after youve installed them to see the power?
Just to mention, injectors are not a solid bhp increase.
They are future proofed on upgrades and a big investment when looking for big power.
They are able to push you up to the 300bhp mark depend on the turbo.
If your looking for 230bhp+ car then you will need injectors to safely get this high to match the setup.
Yes people have done it without these injectors but not easily....

You can buy the nozzles from darkside for £400 or swap yours + £700 for a full set.
Otherwise its £1000 to buy the injectors.

You wouldnt have more engine power but you will have more wheel power.
You will get less one wheel spin ect ect....im sure wiki will answer this is better detail.

So you get more whp (how many) with a different diff? Where do you buy uprated diffs & how much are they?
Does 210bhp = about 170whp?
You dont get more wheel power, however the wheel power the car produces is transferred to the road more effectively rather than spinning it away.
A torque biasing diff transfers the torque to the wheel that has the most grip, whereas the standard one does the opposite. Simple example would be on snow when you get stuck and one wheel just spins on the spot. with the diff's we are talking about the other wheel would get the power and you wouldnt get stuck as easily, unless you buried both wheels too deep.
You can keep your foot in round bends and the car drags you round instead of understeering into a hedge. Takes a couple of weeks to get used to and its weird at first but it was the best money spent on my cupra (albeit mine was a proper one)

depends on the car. rule of thumb for fwd is 15-17.5% losses, so 170whp would be 195-200hp off the top of my head. Mine measured 212whp and 246hp once the dyno had ran down
