A new Seat intercooler? I can put you in touch with a place who'll make you a better one for less money.

Yes you can log it on VCDS lite. I can show you how to do it, but have no idea how to explain it without it in front of me.

What would be the turn around time for getting one made do you know? Rather tempting :)

I know it's in the measure blocks part of the engine module but no idea of what block etc

I think mine took a week. but if you cant live without the car, I can give them mine to use as a mould.

The ross-tech site will tell you which block. Although its fairly obvious when you look at them

I think there was a guy with a boc on here that used them, seemed pretty happy. How much if you don't mind?

He certainly does! Very helpful and also seemed genuinely interested in talking through everything unlike a lot of places you phone at this time on a Friday lol!

Exact same with me (he's doing my Audi). He's done a couple of my mates cars too and they drive spot on. Money back guarantee if you don't like it too. Can't really go wrong

Ya I'm well excited, will be interesting to see what it makes before and after on the rollers as well! He was shocked when I told him what the boost was spiking at and agreed my turbo wont last too long on the current map

So have you cured your running issues mate?

Not quite but once the intercoolers sorted it'll hopefully cure some things, going to fit an oil catch tank as well as replace the head gasket and bolts. Hoping the new map helps as well. Just going to overhaul as much as I can until it's sorted! The mpg is actually improving slightly as times going on :)

Fmic was literally caked in a layer of oil and grit, degreaser and a quick wet sand and I'm running a bead of chemical metal down the end tank welds :)
