Got the Milltek on today. Well chuffed with it. Not to noisy but gives a nice note when giving it the beans :)

Yeah 4 turns was what mine took and as I said Ross they function perfect with the self test and everything.
That's another job to stroke off the list.
Well I'm at my dealer in the morning to see if there going to replace my rear shockers for knocking. The valves in the shockers are rattling on light bumps ie our poorly finished roads.
Going to mention that my flywheels knackered at 9000 miles but I'll probably get the wear and tear answer.

Well just an update on my rear shocker problems.
My local dealer replaced one shocker and cured that side but will not replace the other as its noisy but not a mechanical failure.
I contacted Seat UK who were a complete waste of time and extremely unhelpful taking the side of my rather unhelpful and unkowledgable dealer so guess what I have bought a shocker through Dave at Seremotors and going to repair it myself just like my flywheel.
The question is why pay a fortune for a Seat under warranty when Seat UK are not willing to repair it under warranty or kick their TERRIBLE dealers in to touch.
I will Never buy another Seat after this which is a shame because I love the cars but the aftercare does not exist.

RANT over

The new exhaust looks amazing too. There seems to be a lot of Cupra’s riding with these now. Does anyone know if they come with black tips as opposed to the silver? My standard R exhaust is caked and I actually prefer the black look strangely enough?
Sorry to continue to jump on thread, but is anyone had experience with having warranty work undertaken with new exhaust fitted? I think I must get the Milltek set up this year just a big wummin just now due to warranty / extended warranty etc... Worrying about nothing i know!
Anyway, what was your exhaust package if you don’t mind me asking Ross, not that clued up on these things?
Cheers
D

Bit rediculous Kev! You shouldn't have to pay out of your own pocket.

Well I've just had my front drivers side cv boot replaced. Also had the bonnet insulation and seal kit fitted a while back. No mention of any of my mods. But at the end of the day, the mods that I have fitted will not have any affect on what's been fixed.

I havnt seen an option with Milltek to get the tailpipes in black. Maybe worth contacting them. It cost me delivered £580. But if you on the mainland. Postage will be free through awesome.

Yeah totally ridiculous to the point I've kinda fell out of love with the whole Seat ownership.

Greg take a look here. Your dealer should do the fix under warranty no questions asked. Download this from a link I seen on here. I thinks its the actual copy that Seat use lol.

Seems to be working on mine so far, still get the odd bit of water drip down when I open the bonnet, but the insulation seems to still be keeping dry :)

Thanks for the advise to Kev. Hopefully my next mod will be a downpipe and a remap.

Don't lose faith in your R, you'll love her again when you get the shock sorted
