Thought I'd make a wee build thread mostly so I can keep up to date with what I've done/what needs done. Also to get some advice, suggestions, constructive criticism and all that good stuff. :)

So the specs from when I bought it,
CR hybrid K03 Turbo
JBS Manifold
2.5" Powerflow straight through with Sports Cat
Forge 007p
BAM 380cc Injectors
4 bar FPR
Universal intercooler with re-routed pipework
Forge coldside relocation for recirc valve
N249 Bypass
N112 Bypass
Forge TIP and hoses
KW Variant 1 Coilovers
Conservative Custom Code (Stealth Base) Map by Dave Manson (Still running standard internals)
265.9 bhp and 286.7lbft at Wallace Performance
AEM and Stack AFR and Boost gauges in the Cupra R holder
Etc Etc

So far I've fitted
20mm spaces or the rear
300mm Raid Steering wheel
Front and rear strut braces with a wishbone brace as well
Front rear wishbones now polybushed

Coming up
New rear bumper
R32 style front grill to fill the massive gap in the front bumper
Bigger brakes (Thinking Hispec set up)
Couple of rusty bits need touched up
Maybe wheels and arbs at some point also
Engine bay needs an overhaul, will be cleaning and painting most of it
New intercooler and pipework
I'd love a Kaaz but out of my price range for the moment

Some pics from when the Turbo was installed

So after all of this I took her to Crail for the SCN meet (VAG vs Ford) with good and bad results.

So firstly my fastest runs were 14.37@100 mph and [email protected] mph which I was happy with considering I had never been on the track myself before and I was running a passenger and full interior.

However traction in 1st and 2nd was an absolute nightmare so for further runs I'll be lowering tire pressures and running a semi stripped interior without a passenger.

Secondly I was running high temperatures and had to pull over on the way home to let her cool after sitting in traffic at Dundee. I'll be ordering the Awesome thermostat and fan switch as well as new oil and coolant to hopefully keep some of these temps down. Next will be a bigger intercooler and new pipework to keep up with the turbo as the one I've got doesn't seem to be up to the job.

Here's a photo from the day, thanks who ever took this by the way. :)

Looking to tweek a few wee things just now until I've saved up more for the bigger jobs. Happy with her for just now, the power delivery is so smooth and progressive. :)

Thanks guys, haha yeah that's the result of the previous owner reversing into a pallet. Will get round to sorting my bumpers after I get it running a little better.

Alright guys some updates, took me a few days longer than planned(weather and work) but I'm glad I've done it all myself. :)

So here's my solution for the melted fusebox(Not the bonnyiest...but if it works)...however it hasn't fixed my fans not coming on? Any ideas? Fan control unit?

After this I had to dismantle the front end to get the new radiator in. (£60 from Euro Car Parts with discount [B)]) Whilst I was at it I replaced the thermostat with a new genuine item, fiddly to get to but a universal socket paved the way.

You can see where the radiator split at the top and spewed coolant all over my filter, battery etc(Yes my car is held together with tie wraps haha)

Slam panel out and ready for the new radiator

Slam panel back in with new radiator

Here's the new OMP as well, guy forgot to give me the horn push so I'll hopefully get that in the next couple of days. Yes that is a naaaws button, no idea what to wire it to though haha.

So now I've got to get the fans sorted (Hoping its not a motor) and keep tidying a few bits.

Thanks for watching. :)

*edit* I'll be also tidying up my engine bay, degreased, bits painted, got a little bracket made up for valve deletes, new filter and I'll be going into my local aluminum place and see if they can weld me up some custom intercooler pipework ;)

Woop advisories for airbag light(I was running the OMP so the new MOT regs can't have taken affect yet, I did remove the main beam HIDS...they are gash anyway.) and a tire. :D

Now I can focus on getting her cleaned up...might take out the interior at the weekend as well. ;)
